🧠 The Analyst

Mastering the role of an Analyst at Newion means becoming an integral part of the deal team, supporting investment processes end-to-end, and assisting our portfolio companies.

• Assist in deal sourcing.

• Perform market research, financial analysis, competition analysis, and formulate related investment theses.

• Build an understanding of and analyse different business models and propositions.

• Support deal teams in various stages of the investment cycle.

📝 What you bring to the Table

• First experience in a fast-paced environment (e.g., startup, consulting, investment banking, or venture capital).

• Strong team orientation with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members.

• Intellectual curiosity, hard-working, and committed.

• Structured thinking and well-developed analytical skills.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Interest in software and related industries.

• Fluency in English.

• Coding experience is a plus.

• Ability to work from the Amsterdam office (we’re an “office-first” workplace).
